There are many myths about the protein that goes in tacos. Now don’t act surprised, you’ve heard the stories ; ) But in case you’re craving high quality asada (beef) taco, don’t look further–Hollywood’s El Zarape’s got you! I bit into my Al Zarape asada expecting the usual asada taco chewiness but to my surprise it felt like a quality steak: tender and juicy.

Tortilla: 7 
The tortilla did not come at par with the quality and the taste of the protein.
Salsa (asada comes with verde): 7 Decent salsa verde but had it been a little spicier, the overall experience would have been significantly better.

Situated in a cozy corner of residential East Hollywood, with its outdoor seating, Al Zarape offers cozy vibes, especially on nights when they play Rock en Español.
